How it Works

All Kinderling portraits are custom-made from your personal photos. You choose the design, upload a photo, approve the portrait and receive a beautiful piece of personalized, custom art to proudly display on your walls.

The nitty gritty:

  1. Browse through the available designs, find one you like, and click "Add to Cart". Your custom portrait will look like the one you choose, only with your loved one's profile/name/etc.
  2. Click "CHECKOUT". During checkout, you will be asked to upload profile photos. If you like, you may also indicate the name(s) and age(s) of the individual(s) to include on the portrait.
    If you are ordering a silhouette, please read my SILHOUETTE photo guidelines to avoid common photo mistakes.
  3. Once you submit payment, I will review your photo to make sure it's appropriate for the portrait. If I have any questions, I will contact you via email within 1 business day of receiving your order. Otherwise, I'll get to work.
    NOTE: Since each piece is custom-made,  allow up to 3 business days for me to send a silhouette proof and up to 5 business days for a hand drawn portrait proof.
  4. I will email a proof for you to review and check spelling (you wouldn't want a portrait with the wrong name, now would you?) For hand drawn portraits, you may choose to change the text or move a figure slightly, but this does not include re-drawing a figure.
  5. Once you approve, I will print it and ship it out to you via USPS First Class Mail. They typically arrive within 5-10 business days depending on how far you live from NYC.
  6. You receive a beautiful and unique custom portrait of your loved ones to proudly display in your home!

About the Artist

Amanda Webster is an accomplished graphic artist having spent nearly 10 years in the industry. She studied both Art and Psychology at a small private college in Minnesota. She has spent her whole life creating things and can't imagine doing anything else.
